About

Lorenz Wanker (*2000 Vienna) lives and works in Vienna and Möderndorf. In his works, which oscillate between image and object, he combines silhouettes and sceneries from current memories into positions that balance tradition and innovation, industrial production and craftmanship.
The predominant themes of his art include the investigation of digital production techniques and processing the field of tension between traditional visuality, materialities and symbols of contemporary pop-, consumer- and self-optimization culture.
